Employment Opportunity
Tagalaka Aboriginal Corporation (TAC) is at an exciting turning point, and we are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead us into our next phase of growth. This is a rare chance to take the helm of an Aboriginal corporation, with real autonomy and the backing of a committed Board, and to build something lasting for the Tagalaka People.
TAC is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate for the Tagalaka People in North Queensland's Gulf Savannah region. Native title is recognised over around 30,000 square kilometres around Croydon, Normanton and East Hayden. We deliver state and federal ranger programs, a commercial cultural monitoring business, and land and country management, supported by a growing team.
You will have the autonomy to set the direction and the Board's support to deliver, in a broad and meaningful role. We offer a negotiable package, the flexibility to be based in Croydon or Cairns, and the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference for the Tagalaka People and the Croydon region.
